Opto Engineering is currently looking for a new young and motivated Sales Area Manager for Great Britain Area.
The candidate will be in charge of the budget targets in the reference area, client portfolio management and the development of new business opportunities for artificial vision systems.
Job Summary :
• Sourcing, cold calling, qualifying initial clients, identifying potential users / decision makers, establishing contact relationships, completing company / department profiles and organizational charts, marketing candidates, scheduling and conducting new and follow-up client visits.
• Conduct market research and qualify / classify target accounts within local geography, keep current of market dynamics / trends and forecast client demands, fill in the Company CRM

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
• Strong cold calling and closing skillset
• Solid understanding of sales skills and techniques
• Analytical Problem-Solving & Decision Making – able to research, analyze, identify viable options, draw sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations
• First rate customer service techniques
• Results Orientated – Proven ability to set and exceed sales targets, develop new business and manage account relationships
• Customer Service & Relationship Management – ability to provide a high level of service to customer base/market, building relationships and a referral network within a territory
• Strong work ethic and a team player
• Positive, resilient and able to adapt quickly and easily in an ever-changing environment
• Willing to travel around Europe 60% of time for business trips

Education and Training

High School Diploma, a must
Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration preferred
English at least at C1 level is mandatory.
Some experience in a technical sales role with a good record of accomplishment of sales growth is especially preferable.
